Greek Salad

The traditional Greek salad consists mainly of sliced fresh tomatoes and cucumbers.  There are a few other variables:

  • Olives, Kalamata olives from Greece would be the primary choice
  • Onions, thin onion slices sometimes go nicely
  • Feta Cheese, crumbled across the plate
  • Oil & Vinegar, drizzled over the salad


Here is my aunt Toula’s version of a Greek salad, and hey… she’s Greek! :-)

For my Greek salad I made some homemade dressing based on the Good Seasons Italian dressing mix.

Here is the dressing mix, available in most grocery stores:
